Hello, folks! Today is a grand day because this is our last final task review blog meeting! What a touching moment! Anyway, hope you are all doing well. I am going to mention a bit about my last assignment, which is creating a digital poster on a novel adapted into a movie. Its name is Wuthering Heights.
First, I felt shocked when I saw the task because the choices, which are preparing a movie poster and a magazine cover, were really my taste. Thus, I immediately chose to prepare a movie poster about the novel and began to work on it. There were some requirements to do it and I'm going to tell you about them a bit.
The movie poster was supposed to be from a novel which we read before; the author's name, the producer's name, the cast, two quotes from the novel, the tagline and stars/ratings were supposed to be on my poster and I put all of them of course. First, I found a background picture from Pinterest that would reflect both the novel's and movie's mood and plot. Secondly, I chose my favourite actors and actresses that are suitable for the movie in accordance with the novel's characters. They are also the ones whose movies and serials I have watched before. And then, I found two quotes from the novel and put them on my poster. Lastly, I came up with a tagline that matches the movie. The process was super great for me and I loved my amazing movie poster :) You can see below.
I didn't also have any difficulty while doing it and I did it on Canva. I extremely suggest Canva if you are to prepare such a task.
I would extremely definitely suggest this task individually for my future students because it improves creativity, analytical thinking, brainstorming, research skills and of course reading and intellectual skills.
That's all I can say for this last task guys. I am lastly going to share a final blog post that is about an overview of this course I am taking. I feel a bit sad but I'm sure I'll come back. Until then, take care folks!
